Soprano Kimberly McCord’s oratorio engagements include the Fauré Requiem with Collegium Vocale Geist, Israel in Egypt with Nederlandse Bach Vereniging, Samson with Handel Week Oak Park, Bach’s Magnificant and Easter Oratorio on European tour with the Gabrieli Consort, Messiah with the Croydon Bach Society, and Haydn’s The Creation at Indiana University. In opera, she has appeared as Medée in Lully’s Thesée with William Christie; as Créuse in Charpentier’s Medée at the Dartington Festival; as Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte with Milwaukee Opera Theatre; as Dido in Dido and Aeneas with the Gabrieli Consort; and as a member of the Opera Studio Nederland, in productions with Netherlands Opera including Vivier’s Rêves d’un Marco Polo in Amsterdam and Andriessen’s Writing to Vermeer at the Lincoln
Center Festival.
